This week 31 of our tennis enthusiasts made the short journey to Eastbourne to the WTA 250 and ATP 250 tour events. We got to watch and be inspired by the world鈥檚 top tennis players in both the men鈥檚 and the women鈥檚 game. In addition, our children got to walk around the venue and meet the players in person, collecting autographs and other souvenirs. A truly inspirational day out.

Outdoor time in the sunshine with Leah, Henry and Eliza teaching Tura and Amber how to make origami balloons after learning how to make them in Mr Van's Origami Club. Henry also saved the life of a moth who was about to be trodden on!

Our junior tennis players excelled in the Lancing College annual summer tournament last week. We were lucky to be able to enter three teams, giving 12 of our tennis enthusiasts the chance to test their skills against new opposition in a competitive environment. Each team had to play 4 matches in a group stage against other schools. Teams 1 and 2 both progressed from their group stage and were drawn against each other in the quarter final knock out stage. Team 1 won in a close and very exciting battle before going on to lose to Brighton College in the semi-final. Well done to all our tennis players, good progress is being made.
