Year 3 visited Koh Koh Chocolate Boutique to launch their Willy Wonka Chocolate Challenge. They gathered inspiration for creative shapes and designs, then returned to school to taste test chocolates and evaluate what works. We can鈥檛 wait to see their own inventions!

馃弳 CHAMPIONS! 馃弳 Huge congratulations to our Year 9 Boys Rugby 7s team for an incredible performance at the ISA National Rugby 7s today. After a grueling day of competition at St James School, the boys showcased a masterclass of both tremendous team play and individual flair to secure the victory and bring home the trophy. It鈥檚 not just about the silverware, it鈥檚 about the hard work, grit, and sportsmanship the boys showed on and off the pitch. We couldn鈥檛 be prouder of this group. Well done. The future of rugby looks bright at 福利姬.

Victory in the Sun What a brilliant afternoon for our Year 8 rugby team. The sun was out, the energy was high, and the boys put on a masterclass in teamwork against Duke of Kent School. It wasn鈥檛 just about the result, it was about the spirit of the game. We saw incredible, unselfish play from every single player, which paved the way for some truly fantastic team tries. Players of the Match A huge congratulations to our joint Men of the Match: Bowie C Billy C Both showed exceptional leadership on the field today and set a fantastic example for the rest of the squad.

Year 6 were very excited for science this week when they heard a rumour they would be having sweets in the lesson. As part of the topic of how animals are classified, the Year 6 children were given the opportunity to become taxonomists. Their job was to classify the array of sweets they were given so that each sweet was in a class of its own. The challenge was to make sure that the 鈥榮pecies of sweets鈥 didn鈥檛 suddenly become extinct due to a hungry pupil! Their reward when all sweets had been classified; they got to eat them. All the fun of science in Year 6 at 福利姬.

Years 1 to 4 had a fabulous time on Tuesday when they were visited by Jim Beckett, author of the popular Buzz Sausage Wolf books. They decided whether they were more sausage or wolf, listened to Jim reading his book and even helped him with ideas for a new story. Thanks to @jim_beckett and @brighton Waterstones for a great event.
