Spanish Sentence Building.
Year 8 pupils were given text written in English and a set of cut-out words in Spanish. Their task was to work out the correct order of the Spanish words to match the meaning of the English sentence. This activity helped pupils to practise recognising Spanish vocabulary and understanding sentence structure. It also supported their awareness of differences between English and Spanish word order and encouraged them to think carefully about how sentences are formed in Spanish. The task promoted discussion, problem-solving, and collaboration as pupils worked to build accurate sentences.

Congratulations to our U11 girls fitness team who took the bronze medal in the ISA Regional Primary fitness challenge. It is the first time the girls have participated in the event which required determination and team work to complete all the workouts. Each and every one gave their all. I'm sure there are some tired legs today.

Year 10 have successfully completed a comprehensive product development journey, using their own anthropometric data, client feedback, and multiple design iterations (one even included pizza! ) to refine their ideas. Their final outcomes show real creativity, effort and thoughtful improvement something they should be very proud of. Well done, Year 10!
They are now exploring the Art Deco movement of the 1920s and 1930s, applying its key design features to create their own jewellery pieces in response to a personalised design brief.
