We had Steph from The Dogs Trust come in to deliver a workshop to pupils from yr 5-7 about reading dogs signals. It was an excellent workshop where pupils learnt their ABCS for interacting safely and calmly around dogs.

We are incredibly lucky to have such amazing geography resources just ten minutes away by school minibus. The children explored real-life river features weve been learning about in class from meanders and riverbanks to the river mouth. We also saw the river being used in lots of different ways: canoeing, boating, fishing, and industry.
A real highlight was releasing our newly hatched butterflies into the wild, it was such a special way to bring our science learning to life too.
A fantastic way to spend a Friday afternoon- outdoor learning, fresh air, and discovery!

Dragon's treasure trove and doughy delights for Year 4!
We began with a game in which a dragon guarded its treasure and a thief attempting to steal it! The blindfolded dragon had to rely on hearing to detect the approaching thief - if the dragon thought it heard the thief, it would point in that direction.
We then learned how to make a clove hitch knot, and concluded the session with homemade dough balls!

In KS1 Mindfulness Club with Mrs Harrison we made mini flower arrangements in the fruit pots from lunchtime. We foraged flowers and leaves from the forest and Mrs Hs garden.
