This week, 6Ri tried cooking in the embers of the fire. They created some chocolate orange cakes cooked in the orange skins. Some of the group also practiced their fire-making skills to keep themselves warm in the chilly afternoon.

We had a visit from Mr Rutland, our local MP. The student council excitedly prepared a range of questions from topics surrounding climate change to zebra crossings. We thank Mr Rutland for taking time out of his busy schedule to come in and talk to our pupils about his career path and his responsibilities as their local MP.
