Well done to the Year 7 rugby team who travelled to Downlands School in Hassocks. In very wet, muddy conditions, the boys battled hard against some tough opposition. They gained some much-needed match experience in a training game that was played for 20 minutes each way. There were notable performances from Bowie, team captain and lead try scorer. Max arrived at every tackle to clear out the rucks; Casper and Christopher made some big tackles and Eddie played a super game at scrum half. Well done to the whole team and thank you to #downlandsschoolhassocks for hosting us for the game.

6Ri became Darwin's finches for the day! Armed with tongs, tweezers, seeds, pulses, etc they dove into an exciting hands-on investigation to discover how the finches on the Gal獺pagos Islands adapted to their unique food sources. Lots of fun was had exploring how evolution works in the natural world.

Despite the weather, Y7 had a great day at Neasden temple yesterday! We learnt more about Hindu beliefs and practices, experienced an Arti ceremony and had a go at meditation too! A fab trip!
